Open economic policy and thrust on globalization has led to rapid growth of the Economy. With it there has been an increased demand for professionally trained managers. To meet this challenge and to realize the educational aspirations of our youth, MGM established a management school, MGM's Institute Of Management in 1994.

Establishment After the Liberalisation, The Need for a Professional Manager was being felt by the Industry in a big way. The Visionary Trust Body realized the need of the hour of producing quality Managers, and hence decided to give to the corporates well trained and highly professional people through its Management Institute. Thus, in 1994, started the journey of MGM's Institute of Management in a modest way in the Gurukul of Mahagami. As the students started making their contributions in the Industry, the College grew and in 1998 the full fledged dedicated building with more than 2500 sq Mtr was erected. Today what is being showcased is the hardwork, turmoil and sweat of the entire MGM's IOM Team, which has been working nonchalantly since 1994 to bring this Institute as the Front Runner in Management Education in the region.
